Elisa Wallace recently gave eventing demonstrations for Equestrian Village audiences at the first annual EPIC Outdoor Games Fair in Douglasville, GA (September 23 - 25, 2011). The demonstrations arena was organized by Topline Equestrian Marketing and showcased equestrian talent and activities from in Georgia and around the United States.
Elisa's demonstrations consisted of two parts. First, riding Amigo (aka Figjam), Elisa talked about the sport of eventing, its history, scoring, and training techniques. This included demonstrations of various aspects of dressage, comparative cross country speeds, and show jumping. Second, Elisa did a bareback jumping demonstrations, riding As You Wish (aka Westley) without either saddle or bridle. In all this, Elisa was assisted by Katie Bartz, A student of Elisa, competitor, and owner to As You Wish.
On Sunday September 25, 2011, Elisa was also joined by friend and competitive barrel racer Lindsey Ewing, who had also been asked to give a demonstration of her sport. Footage from both demonstrations can be seen on youtube via the links listed below.
