Nearing the end of Summer!

As summer comes to a close, I look back and it has been a long and hot one with some setbacks along the way.  But I take a deep breath and I am refreshed, looking forward to the American Eventing Championships (AEC) and getting back into the competition swing of things in the fall.

William will not be competing this Fall due to a nagging injury (silly horse), so I have opted to let him sit this one out and have him ready to ROCK next spring. "Patience is a virtue," as my Mother always said.  I am super excited about bringing out Cor Magnifique (aka Camden), as he has been excelling in his work and impressing me every day. So his fall season should be a pretty exciting one.  He also has a pretty nice crop of foals this year and I am trying to get my 3 star mare, Leap of Faith, back in foal for another one! They are like potato chips, you can never have just one.

On a competition note, Team Wallace is gearing up for the AECs and heading to Poplar Place Schooling show August 13th, working on our final tune ups and cross country schools.  Then it's onto the AECs! Sheesh time flies! In addition to myself, my Father Rick Wallace (riding Ultimate Victory), Katie Bartz (riding As You Wish), and Leighton Price (riding Traveling Light) will be competing as well.

The AEC's are held September 7 - 11, so come and join us for some great EVENTING!  For more information, you can visit the official American Eventing Championships website HERE.
